The Bruñó family, a specialist in melon, watermelon and citrus fruits, will participate in Fruit Attraction for another year. Through “La Melonería”, a space created to house and communicate all the novelties around melon, last year they managed to “break the limits of melon” by the hand of a Michelin star chef and offer innovative recipes with melon as protagonist.
Although this year’s campaign has not yet been presented, Bruñó will be present at the fair with new, more sustainable products from organic farming: seedless black watermelon and ecological melon. Both varieties have been grown in a fully sustainable way accredited with Ecological Certification, which guarantees a high level of biodiversity together with the preservation of the natural environment and, at the same time, manages to recover the traditional flavour.
From Bruñó they explain that “we want to continue strengthening ourselves as a company at the forefront of innovation. Therefore, every day we bet to work in the whole process of the production chain, always looking for new varieties and using the most pioneering techniques of the market “. For some time now, Bruñó has oriented its production processes towards a more sustainable agriculture, innovating in environmental improvements and maximising the use of natural resources.
